The Purifying Shield is an unique artefact shield in SpellForce 3.
It can be obtained in the Iskander Wilds after the second visit with Corporal Tahar. The shield is hidden at a shrine of the Purity which needs three Secrets of the Pure to give access to the artefact.
Description[]
The Purifying Shield was inspired and comissioned by the leader of the Purity, Rondar Lacaine. it is said that the All-Father came to Lacaine one night and revealed how to create artefacts that would protect his flock from the Defiling Blight. The artefacts were then given only to the most worthy members of the Purity of Light.
The Purifying Shield was planned to be given to the most faithful Lightbringer among the ranks of the Purity. The Shield could silence the magic of all Defilers in the vicinity of its holder. Sadly, the shield was never delivered to Lacaine and it was thought to be lost... until today.
