Shan Muir was a healer of Liannon in SpellForce: The Order of Dawn and a selective companion in SpellForce 2: Demons of the Past.
Story information[]
Shan Muir could be found in Liannon when the rune warrior headed there in order to met the cartographer Darius. She first seemed to be extremely reserved and would not talk much to anybody. She would offer her healing abilities to anyone who would ask her.
SpellForce: The Order of Dawn[]
The first real conversation with Shan Muir could be made after the rune warrior returned from the Shiel. According to Captain Bahir of the house of Utran Lord Commander Tynar had been poisoned by an unknown traitor. Shan Muir quickly identified the poison as the Black Kiss due to her expertise. She prepared an antidote with the rune warrior's help and thus was able to bring back Lord Commander Tynar from certain death.
Amra and Lea[]
When the rune warrior investigated Amra's background and his connection to Lea Muir, she found out that Amra's beloved one had been Shan Muir's sister. The future Phoenix Bearer talked to her and found out that some thugs sent by Sentos were to be found at the old estate of her family to the northeast. Later on, the rune warrior found clues and was able to unveil Lea's grave in Whisper. She found her ghost and was able to get hands on some of her belongings. After having brought these to Shan Muir, she would explain that although Lea had been in love with Amra, she was promised and married to another human. However said man seemed to be after her treasure, the Pledge of the Gods, and when he found out that Lea had given it to Amra, he killed her and went after her lover.
The Sick Hermit[]
In Greyfell the rune warrior found a sick hermit in the outskirts before the city. According to him he was suffering from a terrible disease that only the Zirfar Potion could cure. He would suggest the future Phoenix Bearer to ask for Shan Muir. However Shan would refuse to help that man because she believed that he had been a murderer. The rune warrior had the choice to accept her pain-easing potion or to travel to the Shiel to ask the healer Illirias of the house of Utran for the Zirfar Potion instead.
SpellForce 2: Demons of the Past[]
The Shaikan Elder could choose another companion within the Realm of Gods. Although she did not state what had happened to her, she apparently died after the Battle of Fiara had ended. It might be related to the terrors brought by the Nameless, but her cause of death had never been specified.
