The Messenger was a servant of the circle mage Rohen Tahir and the Order of Dawn during SpellForce: The Order of Dawn.
Story[]
The messenger was one of the first individuals whom the future Phoenix Bearer came into contact with after her resurrection eight years after the Convocation. The messenger informed Rohen about some strange beings clad in black iron that broke into the Wildland Pass. Rohen departed but first tasked the messenger to escort the rune warrior to the house of the Order of Dawn.
On their way there the messenger revealed himself to be a traitor. The Dark One appeared and the messenger then told him everything about Rohen's reaction to his message. The mage gave the messenger a casked supposedly containing the plans for the invasion. The casket should be brought to Brannigan, the leader of the Black Fist. However shortly after the Dark One had teleported away, the ice containing the rune warrior broke. The rune warrior then was able to defeat the messenger.
Combat[]
The messenger is extremely weak and thus even mages without much mana will be able to defeat him after the cutscene. Additionally the mage Randolf Lighthand will appear too and eventually heal the player if the combat should be become critical.
