this quest is given by Magistra Hedwig, but it can only be activated after talking to weapon master Uland and receiving the side quest The wards.
when the Soul Carrier approached the magistra she claimed that looking for a bunch of children is not a task worthy of "a child of Malacay" and offered one worthy. she asked the soul carrier to instead kill the children because they had taken her wand and heard things they shouldn't have.
the soul carrier immediately figured out that hedwig was a member of the red cult and reported her to the baron. the baron asked the soul carrier to arrest her but she resisted and got herself killed.
note : she will summon undead beware.
