The Wumpus was a powerful crawler creature on Stormcleaver Rocks. It was defeated by the Shadow Warrior on his hunt for Dunhan. Before that he was a nemesis for many travelers. Kongar's brother was eaten by the beast and after having heard about the beast's death, the orc was thankful to the rune warrior.
Tips and tricks[]
- It deals lots of poison effects that can deal high amounts of damage on low-level. So prepare for some hefty casualties, so better don't engage the Wumpus until you've dealt with the regular enemy camps on the map.
- Since the Wumpus has level 9 on a map mostly consisting of level 3-4 enemies, the Wumpus has a rather high resistance versus the usually low-damage orc army available. It can resist the Totems' Pain spells rather easy. It is advised to either come back later or to use the rangers given by Setrius during Janina's Curse to shoot it down from distance.
