The Zul Champion was the leader of the Zul clan of the Firewielder tribe in SpellForce 3.

Background information[]

Shortly after the Mage Wars a shaman, Krell, rose to power with the radical idea of reigniting an old conflict: The War of the Six Races. He believed that the period of stagnation within the Firewielder tribe led to a degradation in accordance with the teachings of the Struggle.

All four clans were inspired by Krell's ideas first, although there were some influential shamans opposing that very idea such as Elder Zilrach, Zarghol and Gor. With Zarghol having been killed by Qrrak and Gor having been brandished as a traitor for having sided with Corporal Tahar, the four clans joined Krell's side in the conflict.

Going against Krell[]

In order to fight Krell Gor suggested to subdue the other clans of the Firewielder tribe. Only with their expertise and their fighters, the fight against Krell could be won. The Zul Champion and his clan could only be subdued by brute force.

Combat abilities[]

Like all champions the Zul Champion does possess a strenghtening aura, that would make the fighting considerably tougher, if you do not take care of his allied soldiers first.

Among all champions the Zul Champion does possess the lowest overall health points. Its attacks are very heavy hitting and deal extreme bonus against cavalry. Try to distract him with taunts while your ranged fighters and your companions deal with him.

If you have access to weakening and impairing effects, the fight might be much easier, because you can reduce the overall fighting time considerably.
